It's not a death panel. It's a government body of bureaucrats (that never will meet you) who will review your file to see if you meet certain criteria that will determine whether or not it is financially prudent for you to receive treatment for whatever ailment you suffer from / disease that is killing you, or if the limited resources of the goverment are best suited to treat someone else whom the tables and indexes find more befitting of care.
